As a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, USAT Coach, mountain runner and triathlete, I primarily create nutrition plans for endurance athletes. My background in sport started in cross country through college, triathlon in 1998, road bike and cyclocross racing through 2006, and transitioned to Ironman distance triathlons in 2006.
I currently work with specialized tactical active duty service members on performance nutrition in the field, while traveling, and during training operations. In SoCal I provide evidence based, practical fueling and meal plans for triathletes, cyclists and runners.
My programs are based in functional medicine and my recommendations are customized per person based on their health, medical, and exercise history, current lifestyle and goals. I work with and refer to integrative practitioners and for a completely individualized program, I offer labs for food allergies, leaky gut, and gastrointestinal issues.
