Micha is the founder of AFTERWORK CHAMPS, a coach and an ambitious triathlete himself. He played for eight years as a professional soccer player in the First and Second Bundesliga, studied sports management and communication at the German Sport University Cologne and is a certified personal trainer (Exos Mentorship, DSHS Personal Trainer).
His competitive sports background is his foundation as a coach. He is the athletic director of Cologne's largest triathlon club Mach3 Köln e.V. as well as a certified coach from the German Triathlon Organization B-License.
He is a multiple IRONMAN finisher. His biggest successes are the participation in the IRONMAN World Championship in Hawaii 2017 and 2024 and several times at the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships.
