Micha is the founder of AFTERWORK CHAMPS, a coach and an ambitious triathlete himself. He played for eight years as a professional soccer player in the First and Second Bundesliga, studied sports management and communication at the German Sport University Cologne and is a certified personal trainer (Exos Mentorship, DSHS Personal Trainer).
His competitive sports background is his foundation as a coach. He is the athletic director of Cologne's largest triathlon club Mach3 Köln e.V. as well as a certified coach from the German Triathlon Organization B-License.
He is a multiple IRONMAN finisher. His biggest successes are the participation in the IRONMAN World Championship in Hawaii 2017 and the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships in South Africa 2018 and in Nice 2019.
