Coach Dean came to Malaysia in 2019 as Founder, Chairman and Head Coach to one of the most successful Triathlon clubs in the United Kingdom. After just a few years developing his UK Club and its athletes he received acclaimed recognition for his work.

Coach Dean is a British Triathlon level 3 coach, with a wealth of experience. In 2016 Coach Dean was awarded Triathlon England’s Participation Coach of the year, with his club (MedwayTri) also receiving the National award of Triathlon Club of the Year.

Coach Dean has competed at the highest level as an international Age Group athlete representing Great Britain 24 times in World and European Championships. Along with this Sprint and Olympic distance experience he has also competed in both Ironman 70.3 and the Ironman World Championships.

Coach Dean’s passion now lies in developing new talent, promoting the sport of triathlon and encouraging general health and fitness from his base in Malaysia. Dean has delivered from grass roots to world class level, giving DR Triathlon the experience to guide any athlete.
