guide athletes from their very first 5K to challenging ultramarathons, always adapting training to fit their lifestyle. As a professional athletics coach specialized in Trail Running, I balance shorter weekday sessions with weekend endurance, creating structure without losing harmony with work, family, and friends. With 20+ years in sport, I share my approach to training, nutrition, and recovery to support your journey.
From the excitement of preparing for a first 5K to the resilience needed for an ultramarathon, every runner brings a unique story. My role as a professional athletics coach is to adapt training to each of those realities, making sure running integrates with life rather than disrupting it.
With over 20 years immersed in sport — from surfing the ocean to racing ultra trails — I’ve learned that progress lasts when training moves in harmony with lifestyle. For some athletes, that means balancing shorter weekday sessions with long weekend adventures; for others, it means building consistency step by step.
I specialize in Trail Running, but my work goes beyond mountains. I focus on sharing how I approach preparation, nutrition, and recovery, while giving each athlete the tools to adapt these practices to their own rhythm. Whether your goal is completing your first race or pushing further into ultra distances, my approach is always personal, flexible, and experience-based.
A key part of my journey also happens at the Sporting Clube de Portugal Academy, where I work within a culture of excellence and growth. This environment challenges me daily to refine my methods and support athletes with both technical knowledge and lived experience.
For me, coaching is more than workouts on a plan — it’s about consistency, adaptability, and enjoying the process. I believe every step counts, and that joy and achievement must always run together.
