My passion is working with athletes to get the most fulfilling & successful experience from their sport - allowing them to follow their own, unique journey. As a coach & PT I have 10 years of experience working with beginners to elites including GB distance runners, Paralympic medallists & AG world champions in multisport. I'm UK Head Coach for Polar, England Regional Coaching Lead & England Team Coach, Runners World TV Head Coach & former Coaching Development Manager for sportscoachUK.


I believe that every athlete is different. Not just in terms of physiology, but also motivations, psychology and driving values. My role as a coach is to work alongside you to shape your own individual and unique journey to success, whatever that means for you by helping your to learn about the sport, and yourself.

Coaching is more than just putting together a training plan or applying a pre-determined coaching system to an athlete. It's really about supporting you to find the fitness, but also the self belief to achieve. I have coached hundreds of athletes over the last 10 years and no one as trained in exactly the same way. Your plan is the meeting point between the demands of the key competitions you are training for, but also that totally unique mix of physiology, psychology and sociology that make you, you. My coaching works with you to determine key physiological benchmarks and areas for development, get the most from your nutrition, mechanics and conditioning, but also arrive at race day with the mental readiness to give everything. I have been head coach at Mornington Chasers RC, Winchester & District AC and I am currently England Regional Coaching Lead for the Midlands. In 2018 I was England Team Coach for Endurance at Loughborough International & Manchester International and England Team Leader at Frankfurt Marathon.
