Services include bespoke annual training plans, one off training plans for sprint, standard and ironman 70.3 distances.
I am a British Triathlon Federation Level 2 qualified triathlon coach, and I coach all three disciplines regularly for my local triathlon club, SYtri (Shrewsbury Triathlon Club), including open water swimming, and also offer individual coaching.
At the core of my coaching philosophy is the belief that triathlon should be open to people of all abilities. Whether you’re competing at the highest level or simply looking to beat your own times from last year, you can benefit from structured training and the personal advice and feedback of an experienced coach to ensure you reach race days ready to perform at your peak.
I understand and have experience of both the highs and the challenges of being an athlete; the joy of crossing that finish line (even winning my age group!) and the hard work of training in all weather, and recovering from injury, whilst trying to balance the needs of work and family.
My passion for triathlon and my own triathlon journey began a decade ago – I’d always been active and enjoyed running, but needed a new challenge. I entered a mini triathlon, overcoming the challenge of needing to really improve my swimming, and really enjoyed the experience. Since then I have gone from strength to strength and completed numerous sprint and standard distance triathlons, and Ironman 70.3 Mallorca in May 2017.
