Sophie St-Jacques can surprise you. With a BS in Exercise Therapy, being an Athletic Therapist and with a coaching business (the Fix Studio, MLPS) dedicated to helping others recover from sports injury and improve their strength, you’d never know an absolute killer lurks behind her warm smile and easy demeanor. For seventeen years, Sophie took the fight to the front in races such as UCI World Cups, the Giro d’Italia, and the World Championships. Simply tough. Now Sophie is more likely to be encouraging you through your intervals, than attacking you to pieces.
"I turned my passion for cycling into a purpose. After many years of racing, I turned to my other interests of cycling and strength coaching as well as mixing it with my passion for injury therapy to blend it all in to help others to move better, perform better and be adventure ready,” beamed Sophie.
"I am also passionate by and inspired to get more women riding and trying to push their strength to new levels."
When she isn’t helping others improve, Sophie is still on the handlebars. “I love Rasputista.... love hills!” when asked about her favorite event. Sophie and her partner Larry can be found any given day in Minneapolis helping riders, making espresso, or leading the weekly gravel adventure.
