Being an Age Group Endurance Athlete is one of the most admirable things a person can do. Challenging yourself, living an active lifestyle, setting and achieving incredible goals, all while working a full-time job, taking care of a family, social commitments, chores etc. etc., always amazes me. I've been an age group athlete in endurance sports for 20+ years and a coach for almost as long. My goal is to help driven people like yourself achieve success while finding that training/life balance.
I believe the most important aspect of looking for a coach is the relationship. There must be a strong coach/athlete relationship built on trust and strong communication for you to be successful. The reality is, this is about you and how you're going to achieve your goals. I can assist you but ultimately it's up to you and you need to be an active participant in this process.
The second aspect is to find someone with knowledge and experience. I guess this would be where I fill in my resume.
