Sophia Willowood   T3 Endurance Coaching

My specialization is weight loss and endurance based athletic events. I have personal experience training athletes for Olympic distance triathlon as well as 5k, 10k, and 13.1 distance running events. I personally enjoy competing in triathlon and both the half and full distance marathon events. I use the Periodization method as well as HIIT for weight loss. I also have some experience training athletes in the Clydesdale and Athena age groups for the Olympic distance triathlon.


I am majoring in religious studies and philosophy with a minor in exercise science at university, and I am currently preparing to sit for my ACSM CPT examination in March 2018. I feel this academic background has been crucial to the development of my unique training method in which I blend the lessons of the Stoic philosophy, various Yoga practices, and solid exercise science into a cohesive system. I feel this system effectively and consistently builds a well-rounded athlete who not only possesses the physical prowess to compete in their desired discipline but also the mental fortitude to push themselves to performance levels they did not know they possessed.
