Pieter Timmermans is Msc. Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy with specific expertise in sports rehabilitation, manual therapy and osteopathy. From his lifelong passion for triathlon, he chose a master thesis topic on "Training endurance applied to triathlon" and quickly achieved results with his triathletes at national and international championships. From 2009 to 2012 he worked as head coach Triathlon for Belgian Triathlon Federation (3VL) under the banner of Topsport Vlaanderen.

Since 2018, he further extended his expertise in sports coaching to cycling where he now also takes care of professional road cyclists Zdenek Stybar and Jasper Philipsen (World Tour and Pro Tour) and pro MTB riders Pierre de Froidmont and Clément Horny (U23).
