Coaching has become a big part of my life over the last six years. As a life-long runner (since the age of 11, through high school & college in the UK & US) I have benefited over the years from the wisdom, guidance and experience of a number of coaches - each having had a profound effect on my life, not only just as a runner but also a person in the world at large! When I found myself volunteering with a collegiate cross-country program (as a chance to give-back to the system that supported me), it very soon became more than just a job - helping the team and the athletes do their best became a passion. Since then I have coached local community running groups and started coaching individuals privately. The Long Run Collective is a chance to bring all my interests and passions together under one umbrella - a place where I can provide a service based on the principles of long-term health & fitness developed in a sustainable manner.
