As a GBR age-group sprint distance triathlete, I came into triathlon and competive sport fairly late in life (late 30s), starting with rowing and more latterly into triathlon.

I know what it takes to balance work, life and training, particularly for the more mature athletes! Taking time to rest and recover is a key aspect of my 1-1 coaching.

I am a BTF L2 triathlon coach, Triathlon Australia Development Coach, L4 personal trainer, L1 strength and conditioning coach and Run Leader, also PN1 nutritional coach. I have had 5 years coaching triathletes of all levels, sharing my passion for the sport and guiding them towards their goals.

Having left the corporate world in 2012 to pursue my love of sport and enthuse others, I created Sunshine Health & Fitness for runners, triathletes and general fitness enthusiasts to achieve their goals.

As a 1-1 coach, offer a completely bespoke service, and by limiting my athlete numbers I make sure I give you the personal attention you would expect.
I keep workouts simple but progressive, and will adjust your training to suit you and your lifestyle. Through the metrics I also look at the bigger picture and ensure the focus is on all aspects of your training; rest & recovery, flexibilty, strength & nutrition.

My bespoke coaching services are detailed on my website and I have put together some off-the-shelf programmes for athletes who are more self motivated, confident and just want a plan to follow. These are a snapshot of how I would coach an athlete, without the regular feedback and updates that you would expect from a coach.
