Coming from a stressful, corporate accounting environment, I found exercise and yoga helped release tensions felt in my body from long hours of computer work. Coworkers and friends, motivated by my results, prompted me to become a certified personal trainer in 2006 so I could assist them in feeling better in their bodies.
I began offering one-to-one private training sessions to career-minded individuals soon after. I later became a certified health coach and certified yoga teacher to incorporate healthy eating habits (like overcoming emotional eating triggers) and stress resilience techniques.
I specialize in helping others improve their strength, mobility, and flexibility through personal training and yoga sessions. I help clients identify and work through the asymmetries (imbalances) in their bodies while reducing their risk of injury.
I’ve also been known to inspire others to sign up for their first 5k run or short course triathlon through what I call The Three Cs: Competence to Confidence to Competitiveness.
