The triathlon journey can be a lonely one on your own, especially for new athletes. Undertaking a massive event like an Ironman or 70.3 distance race requires you to get the most out of your training to achieve the result you want on race day. If you are time-starved you need the support and encouragement of an experienced coach so you don't waste time with mistakes and get the best possible result you can on race day.
Strive 2 Thrive offer athlete focused 1:1 coaching to deliver this outcome.
I am a British Triathlon Level 2 Diploma coach - certified to coach athletes on a 1:1 basis
With over 25 years experience of coaching and competition I can navigate your journey through your goals and objectives in the sport of Triathlon.
Despite having relative modest abilities I have managed to compete in some of the toughest triathlons in the world, including Ironman Lanzarote and the Alpe D'Huez long course triathlon. I have also represented Great Britain at World Championships at Age Group level over standard distance and aquathlon events.
What does this mean to you? Firstly, that I know dreams, goals, aspirations can come true! That what you were born with and where you are now, is not the be all and end all, if you want to fly high!
Having held and performed well at a demanding job whilst achieving these things gives me an excellent perspective on how triathlon, work, family all fit in to the bigger picture of life.
I pride myself on being a truly athlete focused coach, giving excellent value to the athletes I support. As I reach the sunset of my triathlon career, I get as much pleasure and enjoyment from your achievements as mine!
