At Stelleri Performance Training, we specialize in science-based program design. All of our methods have solid data to back them up. We believe in an individualized approach to training--- your training plan will be flexible and adaptive. Our speciality is training athletes who have little or no experience with road cycling, time trial or cyclocross as well as multisport athletes who want to ride faster, more efficiently and smarter.
Angie Ridgel, Ph.D, President and Head Coach of the Women's Team, has competed in over 175 cycling (road, criterium, time trial, cyclocross, gravel), multisport (duathlon, olympic and half-ironman triathlon) and running events (5K-Marathon) since 2001. She is a USA Cycling Cat. 3 cyclist in road, time trial and cyclocross. Dr. Ridgel is currently an Associate Professor in Exercise Physiology at Kent State University. Angie is a USA Cycling Level 3 coach, an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Exercise Physiologist. Angie has been named the 2015 Ohio State Road Cycling Champion and the 2012 Ohio State Cyclocross Champion. She placed 1st in the women's 40-49 age group in the 2015 Eastern Ohio Time Trial Series. Angie also competed in the 2015 USA Triathlon Duathlon Nationals and qualified for the ITU World Duathlon Championship in Spain in June 2016.
