At Steady State Endurance, coaching is grounded in evidence and shaped around real people. As a Certified Athletic Therapist, I approach run training through both a performance and injury lens. Programs prioritize purposeful run development, with strength integrated to support durability and long-term progression. The focus is building aerobic capacity, managing load well, and developing the resilience needed for consistent training.
I’m a running coach and Certified Athletic Therapist based in Calgary, Alberta. I hold a Bachelor of Kinesiology (2004) and have been a Certified Athletic Therapist since 2005. For more than two decades I’ve worked with athletes through injury, rehabilitation, and return to sport, developing a deep understanding of how the body adapts to training and how durability is built over time.
Running entered my own life in 2013 after the birth of my second son. What started as a way to get outside with young kids quickly became something much more meaningful. Since then I’ve progressed from my first 10K to completing more than 20 half marathons and eight marathons, including the Boston Marathon.
I work with runners who want a thoughtful, sustainable approach to training. My coaching combines purposeful run development, strength work that supports long-term durability, and clear communication so athletes understand the reasoning behind their training.
As a mom of three busy boys, I understand that training rarely happens in perfect conditions. My goal is to help runners build consistency and confidence so they can keep improving while balancing running with the rest of life.
