I’m the founder and owner of the sport science Institute SNDC, which is located in Burscheid (close to Cologne). After my Master degree in sport science I joined the sport medical department of the sports university for a few years in a leading position, before I founded my own diagnostic laboratory. Sport and especially cycling is my passion. It started with racing BMX, where I became European Champion. After my BMX career (and still) I competed successfully in amateur mountain bike and road racing events. Besides my cycling I had a successful motocross career for nearly 10 years on national and international level. With my sport scientific advice, over the last decade’s top athletes, youth and recreational athletes reached their personal goals and expectations.
In the last years I´m specialized in the field of carbohydrate optimized nutrition (LC). The optimal amount of energy and a reduced amount of carbohydrates result in an additional stimulating effect with regard to fat metabolism and many health effects. Individual planning and monitoring of the diet is essential for this. Every person has different requirements and pursues different goals. We create a nutrition plan tailored to the training and health goals, which essentially refers to the coordination of the daily macronutrients (proteins, fats, carbohydrates). Regular control measurements provide information about the current state of energy metabolism and is the basis for an individual optimization of the diet.
