I've been riding and racing bikes and running for over 40 years, specializing in gravel and cyclocross.
I established Simple Endurance Coaching in 2019 to support everyday athletes in pursuit of their goals and bucket list dreams.
Simple Endurance Coaching is my full-time job now after retiring early as a middle school English teacher. Before teaching, I was a reporter and writer.
Once I started Simple, I took as many certifications as I could to best serve my athletes. My training focuses on not just helping people get stronger, fitter, and healthier, but helping them move more comfortably and do hard things!
I support clients to learn to value the process of training and goal setting to reach their endurance goals, lessons that can bring joy and health for the rest of their lives.
I am a USA Cycling Level 1 Advanced Certified Coach and Training Peaks Level 2 cycling coach, an RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) certified coach, an RYT-200 certified yoga instructor, a certified nutrition advisor, and a NCCA-certified personal trainer. I am also SafeSport certified.
