Training is designed to keep you healthy, first and foremost. This is because the most important ability is availability. Then we focus on speed and power to make you more athletic.
Everything is measured. There is no guessing or hoping in our program. You get faster and make an impact on the field or you don't pay!
My philosophy of coaching is simple, effective, and contrarian:
Me? I'm a masters sprint hurdler and Olympic weightlifter with experience across a wide variety of sports. Since 2012, I've helped athletes in cleats level up on the field by making them objectively faster, measurably stronger, and consistently healthy enough to perform. I have worked with athletes from the high school to the semi-professional ranks, in sports including lacrosse, rugby, American football, and ultimate (Frisbee).
I'm the author of Fast Kids Don't Train Slow (available on Amazon) and the owner & head coach of SHIFT Speed & Strength, where I help high schoolers break into college athletics and help masters continue to set high marks in elite amateur/semi-pro competition.
