My mission as your coach is pretty simple: help you become a well-rounded, physically strong and capable endurance athlete while also empowering you to find balance with training and life, and be the best, healthiest version of yourself possible.
Joining you on your journey and making it the most fun, meaningful and successful experience possible is my passion.
If you want to learn more about the values and philosophy that inspire my coaching, I encourage you to reach out!
I have been racing and coaching for most of a decade, and my passion grows for the allure of endurance sports every year. I like variety, and being a balanced, healthy athlete. That's why I like to dabble in a bunch of endurance sports. So far, I have completed a wide range of endurance events from 5k to Ironman to 24 hour cycling races. I am currently working hard on my first 50 mile trail race, as well as some day qualifying for both Kona and Boston once I get the super long stuff out of my system.
I am also an author and frequent contributor, and endurance coach in-residence at Breaking Muscle. Feel free to check out some of my stuff!
Learning and becoming a better coach are my highest priorities, and I continuously seek out the best guidance possible. Some of the formal learning I have includes certifications as a:
USA Triathlon Level 1 Coach, USA Cycling Level 3 Coach, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach. TrainingPeaks Level 2 Coach, and ACSM Personal Trainer.
