SERGIO ROMÁN | TRIATHLON COACH AND FOUNDER OF KTK TEAM

From my first foray into sports in 1999 to founding KTK Team Triathlon Club in 2015, my career has been defined by continual growth and a passion for triathlon. I began training in this discipline in 2010 and have specialized through courses ranging from caffeine and athletic performance to nutrigenomics. As a coach at Triatlón Ecosport Alcobendas since 2018 and with the launch of Codo Alto in 2021, I offer a holistic approach encompassing biomechanics, physiology, nutrition, and training periodization. I am dedicated to guiding you from your first race to crossing an Ironman finish line, through the thrill of a sprint triathlon.

I hold advanced certifications including the quantification of aerobic training, running economy, polarized training, and the application of hypoxia in performance. I specialize in optimizing sleep quality and addressing specific issues like the female athlete triad. Armed with a breadth of knowledge in nutrition above 4000 meters and circadian rhythms, I am well-equipped to elevate you to the next level.
