Friendly, honest coaching for cyclists and endurance athletes. I’ll learn your story, respect your time, and guide you with clarity and care. You’ll know what to do, why it matters, and how to show up on race day confident. Let’s build a season you’re proud of—stronger legs, calmer mind, more joy.
Hi I’m Sean Conner, a Vancouver-based kinesiologist and post-secondary instructor (University of the Fraser Valley; Douglas College). I coach cyclists and endurance athletes who want a clear plan, real accountability, and a coach who actually listens. My style is personable and straight-to-the-point: we use power, heart rate, and RPE—plus TrainingPeaks metrics—to build training that fits your life and steadily moves you forward.
My process: athlete centered and data-driven; clarify goals, training history, constraints, and health status; profile performance with field tests (FTP/CP and power-duration curve); then build progressive, individualized plans. Training emphasizes consistent load, targeted intensity, smart recovery, and strength that transfers to the bike. From there, I’ll map purposeful weekly goals and explain the “why” behind every session so you know exactly what to do and what good feels like.
I work with newbies, time-crunched masters and performance-driven racers. Aim: durable performance—build the engine, sharpen specifics, arrive confident on event day. Expect feedback, and practical race-week guidance on taper, primers, pacing, fueling, and hydration. I keep a small roster so you get attention, flexibility, and progress you can see and feel.
