Sean has shown an aptitude for developing a range of athletes to achieve their goals. Moving into triathlon coaching, Sean has seen his understanding - and keeness for continued learning - in physiology, lead to continued success. Sean has coached athletes to age group wins and earning of a slot at Kona for the Ironman World Championships, across disciplines from Olympic, to Half to Load distance.
Seans Background in Sport Biomedicine and Nutrition gave the foundations for physiological zone work. Choosing a formula that works, Sean encourages variety in training, alongside adherence to basic principles. There are no short cuts, and Sean exemplifies developing understanding of those he works with to continue to develop and understanding the process that will ensure that their journey is a successful and well-remembered one.
Sean Strongly believes that the journey toward a goal is one that can be enjoyed and shouldn't be monotonous like so many report their training to be.
