I have competed in events from the 100m to the marathon. I still hold several school records at Cincinnati’s renowned Moeller High School. An injury ended my non-masters competitive running career at the University of South Carolina with personal bests of 1:54 for 800m and 15:57 for 5K. I have won races or taken age group honors on the track, road, grass, and dirt. I started competing in USATF Masters Track events in 2021. I am a 3x national champion, 4x regional champion, and 5x all-american across the 800, 1500, and 5000m.
My coaching philosophy emphasizes overall athleticism, proper running technique, and goal-oriented training. I want you to enjoy the thrill of competition and the sense of accomplishment that makes our sport so great. I work with new and experienced runners focusing on track events above 400m and road racing up to the marathon. I hold a Level 2 coaching certification in endurance events from the USATF and first aid/CPR/AED certifications from the American Red Cross. I coach high school track & field and cross country and am a member of the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. I take the guesswork out of training and free up your time to focus on workouts and recovery that will yield results and keep you motivated to improve.
