Hey I'm Sam, head coach at Velo Goals

I've been riding bikes since I was 16 when i transitioned across from running. In no time at all I found myself racing at the elite level across Australia and around the world. I've been on the podium of races both in Australia and Internationally and when fit and lean my FTP sits around 5.5 - 5.7 w/kg at 61kg and 173cm

Through the lessons i've learned and mistakes I've made through the food i've eaten and not eaten, efforts i've done, kilometres i've ridden, crashes i've had, bikes and wheels i've ridden, races i've won and got dropped in, I want to be able to use my experience to guide you through your cycling endeavours whether it's just getting faster and loosing some weight, becoming a professional cyclist or anything in between.
