I am a personal running coach based out of Reno, Nevada. About a decade ago, I started running just for fun and later, in 2013, began my racing career specializing in trail ultras. For the last 5 years, I have worked in run specialty, getting to know the local running community well. Outside of running and coaching, I'm a husband, father, skier, farmer, and self-proclaimed chef.
As a coach, I've drawn inspiration from many of the greats: Joe Vigil, Jack Daniels, Steve House, Jason Koop, Scott Johnson, and a long list of others. The success of any athlete is dedication and consistency to his or her training program alongside the development of strong aerobic capacity and injury avoidance. My goal is to develop a trusting relationship with my athletes where I can advise a training protocol that addresses their fitness needs and guides them in developing the whole athlete within themselves.
Currently, I hold coaching certifications through UESCA & USATF while staying up-to-date on all things running through additional trainings, podcasts, webinars, and books.
