Coach Bio

Roland is triatleet en coach. Hij heeft ruim 20 jaar ervaring als atleet. Hij heeft deelgenomen aan NK’s, Teamcompetities (Eredivisie, 1e Divisie) en o.a. IM Hawaii, Challenge Roth en IM Austria gedaan. Als coach is hij in 2017 gestart (naast zijn baan als Data-Science consultant) met het begeleiden van ambitieuze triatleten en sinds 2020 is hij full-time coach. Zijn aanpak is gebaseerd op de laatste wetenschappelijke inzichten, data analyse, ervaring en een sterke persoonlijke betrokkenheid.

Inmiddels hij heeft al tientallen atleten succesvol gecoacht naar Ironman 70.3's en hele Ironmans. Diverse atleten hebben zich onder zijn begeleiding ook gekwalificeerd voor de WK Ironman M70.3 en WK Ironman. Naast.coaching voert hij inspanningstesten (met lactaatmeting) uit en organiseert hij trainingsweken op Mallorca.
