As a coach and athlete, I specialise in ultra-distance and adventure cycling, individual performance and target-focused training plans.

I provide a "human" service and use the bicycle to create a connection, adventure and a healthy lifestyle. My expertise is for cyclists who participate in events and those who don't compete, who have personal cycling goals or wanting to use cycling to establish or maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I have a genuine passion for the sport and a long history of adapting my fitness to the different cycling disciplines. In addition to RIDEANDRACE I'm a freelance associate coach at Bike2Max Studio in Cape Town, South Africa.

Where It Started
After getting lost in the Karoo and calling it quits at TheMunga, my first ultra, I went back in 2016 to try again, lost 3rd in final 80km and finished 7th. This small victory became a reference point as to what could be possible, a few weeks later I launched RIDEANDRACE.

What I Aim To Achieve
Is to have a positive impact on your attitude, physical development and lifestyle.

Who I Would Like to Work With
A person who prioritizes exercise, performance and health in their lives. Who is willing to try and shape their lifestyle and environment to match their realistic aspirations.

My Approach
Understand your individuality, and take into account your particular circumstances and plan everything down to the smallest detail or with some flexibility.

Race Experience
Solo ultra-distance: BikingMan Oman, Munga, Radamring 24hr.
Stage racing: Cape Epic, Cape Pioneer Trek, Giro Del Capo.
National elite level: Road, TT, XC and XC marathon.
