I try to be as flexible as possible to meet the requirements of the athletes, setting challenging but realistic goals and developing a program to achieve them whilst enjoying the process. The level of direct and indirect contact depends on the requirements of the client, service level and level of experience. The focus is preparing the athlete as best as possible for the race of whether their target is qualifying for the the World Championships or crossing the finish line.

I took up triathlon in 2011, starting with Olympic distance before specialising in Ironman 70.3. In 2018 I qualified as both an Ironman Certified Coach and also a community coach with Triathlon Canada to improve my knowledge and participation in the sport. Historically I have been involved in team sports playing both hockey and football at a high level and sailing internationally. So I am well aware of the time and effort required to compete at the top level but now enjoy these sports at a social level. One of the main reasons for my transfer to triathlon was the challenge three sports brings along with the flexibility of training and racing. Having got so enjoyment from the sport I now wish to help others achieve their goals.
