As an experienced instructor and coach, I offer 1:1 coaching with individual prescribed training plans as well as group sessions for riders wanting to train and progress from their current level. My aim is to give you the tools and the confidence to take ownership of your training and development.

My personal coaching philosophy is to provide a positive experience for the Athletes whom I coach. I will allow them to achieve their full potential in the sport of cycling. Safety of my coachees and others is my number one priority.
I will encourage mutual respect between myself and my riders by having an open an honest approach to my coaching allowing leadership and guidance to provide effective development of the riders. I will allow the rider to be independent and to provide for their own development through self reflection. I will provide a leadership style appropriate to environment of the coaching taking into account necessary health and safety for the individual and others.
I will commit to the individual rider to develop a simple structured way to coach focussing on all aspects of the rider’s development not just Physiological but Psychological, Tactical and Technical development aspects of their riding, I will be fair and equitable to all.
I will provide constructive criticism in my assessment and develop rider’s feedback into my own coaching to improve my coaching. I will create an environment for both myself and my riders for self reflection. I will attend BC courses to develop myself each year as part of a continuous professional development.
I will ensure I adhere to the necessary British Cycling Code of Practice for Cycling Coaches and aspects of any individual agreement I have with the specific rider.
