I LOVE watching people achieve things that they set their mind to. Whether it be a personal best, their first ever running experience or staying consistent in their training… I still get that warm, fuzzy feeling! My personal approach to my athletes is that we work together to create a way to achieve your goals, whatever they might be. My role as your coach is to help you stay accountable and give coaching knowledge, insights and plans to get you closer to where you want to be.
I started fell running in my early teenage years and, like a lot of girls, I stopped once I became aware (and self-conscious) of the changes that I was going through during my adolescent years. Roll on to my early twenties. Life had thrown a few curve balls in my direction when I remembered the feeling that running gave me. The freedom, headspace, and health benefits that came with running were just a few reasons I picked it up again. I re-joined the running club that I was part of as a junior. This is where my journey to becoming a running coach started. I became a Run Leader and led running groups for about 8 years (before covid came and changed the game for everyone). After a local move to Skipton, I set up a social running group and started working towards my run coaching qualifications. I take a rather holistic approach to coaching and training – life happens. My personal approach to my athletes is that we work together to create a way to achieve your goals, whatever they might be. My role as your coach is to help you stay accountable and give coaching knowledge, insights and plans to get you closer to where you want to be.
