Hi, I am Jakub Novak, a former professional road cyclist with +11 years of cycling experience. I retired from professional cycling in 2013 at the age of 24. Since then, I have been passing on my valuable experiences which I gained throughout different age categories – from youths, juniors, under 23 to World Tour Elite. I had a chance to experience what preparation for the world’s best cyclists look like at BMC World Tour Team. Being part of the team, and having identical coaches and support team as world-class riders such as Tour de France winner Cadel Evans or World Champion Philipe Gilbert, gives me the edge. On top of that, my continuous education in sports science keeps me up to date.
Former qualifications include Certificate in Sport II. and coach certification from Charles University in Prague. I am certified coach with Cycling Australia and TrainingPeaks.
