I’m Pooja Chaurushi, Coach of Indian Triathlon Team, India’s 1st ITU Level 2 certified Triathlon coach, Ironman Coach & International Triathlete with more than 200 titles to my name. With over 20 years of experience in swimming & triathlon, I coach elite as well as recreational athletes in Triathlon, Duathlon & Aquathlon. I specialise in designing all-inclusive training programmes with prime focus on techniques & quick transition between disciplines, in addition to endurance development.
Pooja Chaurushi started her Triathlon career back in 2004 when the only coaching she could receive was a thousand miles away from home. She worked hard with an aim to bridge the gap between an aspiring athlete & world-class coaching, fast forward to 2016 Pooja started her multi-sport academy called PC Tri Sports Academy.
Pooja has an all-encompassing background as an athlete & is highly-educated in all things sports-related. Since 2016, Pooja has helped triathletes reach their goals at each different triathlon distances. She has also coached runners, swimmers, & cyclists to bring out their best potential.
Pooja believes in delivering a holistic form of training. She’s known to push her athletes when needed & to pull back when recovery is paramount, & most importantly, to support & motivate them all along their journey.
