I offer bespoke, custom written training plans for runners created specifically for you. I also offer a monthly coaching package for those runners who want a more comprehensive coaching package, or for those who need a little more help and guidance with ongoing support and communication. Both packages are available to everyone, for any distance or experience level, from the complete beginner, to those looking to improve or achieve a new personal best.
My name is Danny and I am the coach behind Personal Best Running. I live in Belfast, Northern Ireland and work in London and I split my time pretty equally between the two locations. I have been running consistently for around 10 years. Before that I ran competitively at school but took break whilst at university to focus on my studies. I have ran pretty much every distance available, over different type's of terrain and in varying climates. I have also ran in many of the biggest races around the world, including 5 of the 6 marathon majors.
I got into coaching runners several years ago through my running club. I am now a fully qualified Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF) certified through UK Athletics with all the relevant insurance and safeguarding assurances that go along with it. I enjoy coaching athletes and helping them achieve their goals and in particular the challenges of constructing training plans for people to help them achieve their running goals whilst navigating their work and social commitments. My primary aim is to help runners to improve their own running as well as encouraging more people to take up running.
