Coach Bio

I coach runners to get stronger, build confidence, and reach big goals without getting stuck in the run-hard, get-injured, start-over cycle. I create individualized training that adapts to your fitness, goals, and life. I focus on running, strength, recovery, fueling, mindset, and race strategy. My goal? Help you become a confident, capable runner who finds the joy in running again.

I am 80/20 Endurance and UESCA Run Coach certified.

As a lifelong runner, I coach runners from 5K to marathon who want to get stronger, build confidence, and reach big goals without getting caught in the cycle of run harder → get injured → start over.

I create individualized plans based on your goals, fitness, experience, schedule, and life outside of running. We’ll work on more than just running—strength, recovery, fueling, pacing, mindset, and race strategy are all part of becoming a confident, capable athlete.

I also coach a running team and lead weekly track workouts, creating a fun, supportive environment where runners can push themselves and learn from each other. I coach a high school cross country team as well, which has given me the opportunity to work with athletes across different ages, abilities, and experience levels.

My coaching philosophy is simple: Consistency → Change → Confidence. We start where you are, take small steps, and build from there.

I bring more than 25 years of experience in animal behavior and training, including over two decades at the Denver Zoo. That experience taught me the importance of trust, motivation, communication, and breaking big goals into achievable steps—principles I bring to every athlete I coach.

Most importantly, I want you to enjoy running. If you’re ready to see what you’re capable of and want a coach who will meet you where you are and help you find the path forward, I’d love to work with you.
