I have been a triathlon coach for over a decade splitting my time between AZ and UT, coaching remotely and in-person. I like to keep my roster small to ensure premium guidance at all times. In 2022 I coached 8 athletes to the IRONMAN World Championship. I currently hold certifications with USA Triathlon, USA Cycling, IRONMAN U and RRCA. I believe that establishing a good relationship with the athlete, understanding his needs and availability is key to delivering a successful plan
As an athlete I'm still actively racing and I currently hold some of the fastest official IRONMAN times ever posted by Portuguese triathlete with a PB of 8h08 over the full distance and 3h48 over the half distance (70.3), a half marathon PR of 1h09 and a marathon PR of 2h36. Alongside, I like to mix it up and gain experience in other grueling endurance events such as Haute Route Alps, trail events and unofficial challenges like Rim 2 Rim 2 Rim, the Abu Dhabi Cycling Tour and the Double Triple Bypass.
