Beyond any result achievement, at any level, the coach is first of all here to make you practicing your sport on a healthy way, taking in consideration your physiology, personality and the environment you are involved in.
Healthy means avoiding any kind of injury and burn out of course, but it also means making you enjoying the sport at the toughest moment and showing you the path to be a better athlete evolving in a balanced life.
If you signed up for an Ironman or any endurance challenge, it´s because you know you have it in you, something you have to prove to yourself.
At some point, competitors forget about this and doubts start to arise, whether on a rough training session, or during an unexpected event while racing. My job is to maintain that confidence within yourself so you can overcome the unpredicted obstacles.
