My name is Pat Casey and I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am a USA Triathlon Level 2 Certified Coach, USA Cycling Level 3 Coach, Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Cat 1 road cyclist, Team USA Duathlon and Cross Triathlon Coach, and professional bike fitter.

Endurance sports require a tremendous amount of mental tenacity, sacrifice, and discipline. However, training should not come at a cost to the quality in other areas in your life that require attention, passion and energy. This is where Peak State Fit plays an integral role in helping athletes formulate their goals, create a plan, and actualize it through appropriate, attainable day-to-day achievements that create a positive feedback loop toward self-improvement and reaching your own "Peak State". Our methodology promotes wellness through training, mental skills, injury prevention, body awareness, nutrition, and mindfulness. Our goal is to create a schedule that lends itself to living a better life and becoming more present, not just becoming a better athlete. Through TrainingPeaks, coaches and athletes together can manage time, training stress, balance your goals with life's demands, and learn through the hard times in training and racing all while keeping the training modalities fun and engaging.
