Biathlon and Cross Country Ski coach with over 15 years experience.
I offer 1 on 1 coaching including video technique analysis for all skill levels. In person camps or clinics and contract coaching are also available.
My goal as a coach is to provide a positive and safe environment. This creates a culture of good sportsmanship, belonging, and allowing athletes to realize their potential, both in and out of sport.
I am certified in Canada's National Coach Certification Program (NCCP) in Biathlon at the 'Competition Development' level and in Cross Country Skiing at the 'Competition Introduction - Advanced' level. I am also pursuing my Advanced Coaching Diploma.
I have been coaching for over 15 years from local grassroots club programs to National and International competitions. I have coached at Nationals and Canada Winter Games as the provincial Head Coach as well as being an assistant coach for Team Canada on a Junior IBU tour that included the Jr Open European Champs.
As an athlete I have competed in Biathlon, Rugby, FireFit, and Triathlon. I am continuously looking for learning opportunities, especially in mental skills and biomechanics.
