I am Nikolaos Barmpoudis, a certified triathlon and running coach, former professional footballer and founder of RΞZN Endurance Team in Athens, Greece.

After playing professional football from 2006 to 2019, I moved into endurance sports and completed my first IRONMAN 70.3 in 2019. Since then, I have competed in numerous running and triathlon events, including the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship and a full-distance IRONMAN. My personal achievements include a 3:56 at 70.3 distance, a 9:13 full-distance IRONMAN and a 1:13 half marathon.

Today, I coach more than 60 athletes, from beginners preparing for their first race to advanced athletes targeting personal bests, podium finishes and IRONMAN events. Every training plan is individually designed around the athlete’s goals, experience, available time and personal life.

My coaching combines structured, evidence-based training with regular communication, honest feedback and continuous support. I believe progress is not measured only by faster times or higher positions. It can also mean overcoming a fear, managing difficult moments more effectively and developing confidence.

My philosophy is simple: there is always a reason. Our goal is to learn from every experience and become 1% better through every training session and every race.
