My own journey started from scratch. After years away from sport, I picked up a road bike in April 2022 with zero cycling experience and set one goal: become an Ironman. Since then I've completed Ironman 70.3 Westfriesland (2024 & 2025), Ironman 70.3 Duisburg, Ironman 140.6 Copenhagen (2025), the TCS Amsterdam Marathon, the KPMG Marathon, and multiple Olympic and sprint triathlons. I've been the beginner. I know what it takes to restart.
