Experienced triathlete.
Head Triathlon coach for Arendal Triathlon club in Norway.
I coach athletes in all ages. From beginners to seasoned triathletes in search of sprint, olympic or ironman glory.
My training philosofy is inspired by the newly famed ''Norwegian Method'' that has seen good results inn the triathlon and running word resently, not to forget stelar results from Norwegian cross country skiing and biathlon for years.
My scientific knowlegde comes from my masters degree in sport science at UIA. During my master i studied how The Norwegian national Triathlon team used self-talk during competition.
I am a firm beliver in evidence based practice (EBP) prescribing training should not be done by only on chance and past experience but backed up by science.
Althogh my work and planing is inspired by the ''The Norwegian method'' i acknowlegde that ''one size does not fit all''
My practical experience comes from training and competing in triathlon at an advanced level for over 13 years. My strength is on the bike but am fairly versatile. I enjoy Althing's outdoors but i mostly spend my days training for Ironman's.
My triathon highlights up to now have been competing at the 70,3 world championship Mount Tremblant 2015, Ironman New Zealand 2018, Ironman Lanzarote 2023. And a silver and bronse medal in the Norwegian championship in olympic distance.
I love helping others grow and develop and i thrive when seeing others experience competence and joy in sports while sharing the same joy and happiness exercising have given me.
