Coach Bio

I have worked as a mountainbike coach for more nearly 15 years now. With a BA in physical education and a background in judo, the 'game' of mountainbiking fit me like a glove.
My passion is to continue learning and use it to help my athletes become better and stronger. They become better people as well.
Since 2014 I work with clubs in winter as a strength & conditioning coach.

As an athlete I was focused on style and having fun while competing. I wanted to physically feel how my core, legs and shoulders moved. And I use that now in my workouts.
Many different people have come to me for advise and schedules. Because I always keep studying, I can advise my athletes in different fields.

Personally, I started competing on a MTB in my thirties. I won a few and lost more, but the thrill has kept me going.
My focus has shifted to neuro training, because I have witnessed its succes. As a Master 3 athlete I have won some races. I have experimented on myself with the science to stay fir as an older female athlete. And now I am ready to help other ladies to become their best!

My role is to make the athlete win - and I use multiple disciplines and dynamics. Martial arts movements in base training and brain training, to induce mental stress during fun but strenuous sessions, so it can be transferred into race situations.

I have worked with a wide range of athletes; Masters, weekend warriors (age group athletes), as well as national champions and ambitious youngsters. What you are looking for, I strive to deliver. Your goals are my challenge as much as yours.
