I am passionate about cycling and believe it is a route to mental and physical health, I advocate cycling at every level and my aim as a coach is to inspire others, to help them grow, develop and improve at whatever level they wish to ride, either competitively or for fun and enjoyment.

I aim to provide a safe, comfortable learning environment to allow riders/athletes and groups to achieve their potential. I believe that it takes hard work and effort to achieve in life and this is no different in cycling. I am committed to my own development and do so by investing time keeping up to date with the latest coaching techniques and methods.

I strongly believe in goal setting at whatever level the rider/athlete is at, I expect the riders I coach to set their own goals which will stretch their abilities providing challenging objectives adding to the sense of achievement cycling provides.

I believe in developing a strong relationship between coach and rider/athlete which is built on trust and knowledge. I expect honest feedback to be a two way process, delivered with respect and courtesy.

I use the latest technology and software to support the development of my riders including Training Peaks and WKO4, I am also comfortable coaching riders with a basic approach and desire to get better.
