I have enjoyed coaching endurance athletes over the last 20 years, mostly triathletes, runners, and cyclists. I love helping others to explore and evolve their physical capabilities and mental resilience to reach their personal goals. I offer athletes individually structured training plans, workout and recovery analysis, biomechanical correction and training, and lifestyle modification and design. I also work in-person with clients on the Big Island of Hawaii, or via video chat virtually to teach and improve skills and assist with challenging workouts.

I am also a physical therapy professional and have worked over 15 years with athletes in physical recovery and performance with a heavy emphasis in biomechanics and correcting biomechanical faults. I am highly trained in analysis of running, swimming, and cycling, as well as a bike fitting specialist. My philosophy when coaching any athlete is to "get strong first" and promote healthy mechanics to avoid setbacks and injuries. We always start at the beginning with a strong foundation, no matter how seasoned the athlete is.

There is a lot of overlap in what I do with coaching and physical therapy, and I find skills learned with each complementary. Personally, I have been an age-group competitive endurance athlete, completing over countless races encompassing all distances in triathlon, running, and cycling. I have also volunteered at many events and always look forward to giving back to sport.
