I am an online Triathlon and Running Coach with a passion to help and encourage others in to the sports. I offer both long and short term coaching whether it be to help get you started, accomplish that one race or coach you through goal after goal. I primarily help beginners in to the sport who need to juggle family and work life but also coach more intermediate athletes who have a few years experience as well as those seeking the podium in their age groups.
I started running and triathlon quite a few years ago and naturally progressed to coaching. I love the atmosphere, the anguish, the fear and the feeling of that finish line. And I love nothing more than helping someone realise they can do it - and then seeing them do it. I've completed many qualifications and continue to do so as I believe a good coach never stops learning. I have my Level 2 Diploma in Triathlon Coaching, Level 2 Swim Teacher, Level 2 Gym Instructor as well as several CPD's in various areas and I'm soon to complete my Level 3 Supporting Clients with Long Standing Conditions.
I'm a strong believer in anyone can run and do triathlon - when I started running I couldn't last further than the next lamp post in the street and now I run races of 100km. I couldn't swim 10 years ago but now I can hold my own at Ironmans.
I'm a strong advocate for women in sport and would love to see more and more getting involved. My philosphy is not simple because life is not simple - coaching and training has to work around your life and that's what I specialise in. There are no short cuts, the work needs done, but there are ways to be clever with your training to make it work.
