Coaching high altitude athletes with a main focus for mountaineers to achieve optimal fitness through monthly assessments to verify benchmarks are being reached with the 4 week cycles of training. Additional patented methods and devices are available as tools for breaking plateaus or limits in training time.
Operating a biomechanics and biochemistry clinic for over 10 years has allowed me to have the skillset to take on my mission. With so many accidents and deaths on mountains every year from inadequate physical training, my goal is to assess and strategically implement a plan for individuals who prefer to achieve success without risk to life. Believing the mind and body have a natural governor to limit how hard and far individuals should push themselves is imperative in my belief. Using this limit is what allows us to assess what is missing in training. Using tools such as Muscle Activation Techniques, HRV, Digestive Health, or pulmonary assessment offers avenues of testing to find the limits and add specific and strategic variables into the equation to yield success without pushing beyond what is safely possible.
What I believe:
I believe every client is a research project. My believe exists because even through the foundation of training is similar, there exists situations and individual adaptations whereby all results are different. By opening the doors to these possibilities and challenges, then we can offer an opportunity to train the individual to adapt and not respond poorly. We hope to overcome the limitation, so the goal becomes a rousing success.
