I am an 8020 Endurance certified coach and I follow this philosophy of balance when prescribing your training. My training plans are designed around a typical work week. I plan effective, time-efficient workouts during the week and longer aerobic workouts at the weekends. This gives you the structure and consistency you need to continually improve.
As a professional coach, Miles (32) works with triathletes, duathletes, cyclists and runners from all over the world. His passion is helping people successfully combine their sport, personal life and career without compromise.
Before coaching Miles spent six successful years as a professional yacht racer and still manages logistics and operations for some of the biggest teams in the world. A significant flare up of ulcerative colitis, and the resulting surgeries, ended his competitive career. Whilst looking to fill that void, Miles found Triathlon. He has been hooked ever since!
He has designed over 100 beginner, intermediate and advanced training plans for the TrainingPeaks store. The training is intelligently scheduled to fit around a busy life - with shorter workouts in the week and longer workouts at the weekends. The plans are broken into specific phases, with targeted sessions that grow your race-skills and confidence. Simple fitness tests are scheduled regularly, to help you track your progress and get accurate, personalised training zones.
