I love to spend time with my athletes, getting to know their personalities, work and life demands, and truly understanding what they need and how to progress them towards their goals. This allows me to prescribe the perfect amount of STRESS + REST, which in turn = GROWTH.
MIKE CROSS is a senior level Coach at NVDM Coaching. Prior to finding triathlon in 2018, Mike was a collegiate football coach.
After finishing his collegiate football career at Illinois State University in 2010, Mike transitioned into coaching. He spent 6 years in the profession, moving all over the country. From Chicago to Louisiana, all the way out to Utah, Mike spent time at the NCAA Division III level all the way up to the FBS level while serving in a number of roles during that time.
He and his Wife Camie, have made Waco their permeant home with their daughter Kenzie and Australian Shepard, Logan.
Mike's passion to help others led him back to coaching with NVDM in an assistant role in 2020.
