The training process firstly involves an assessment and evaluation of your current fitness and experience as a cyclist. We then design a periodised training plan based on your ability, availability, and goals (events). Your training progress will be assessed and analysed on a continual basis with feedback and we adapt the plan based on your training response. There are different training packages available to choose from, each offering different levels of feedback and support.
Nadine is a Sports Scientist and has been part of the fitness industry for the last 21 years. She has experience working and teaching in the commercial gym environment as a group training instructor and personal trainer. Nadine has also spent a considerable amount of time working with high-performance sports with national and international level athletes in various sporting disciplines at the University of Johannesburg. She developed a passion for cycling and started competing at a semi-professional level as a mountain biker in her 30’s. She, therefore, has extensive experience with the challenges athletes face to juggle many aspects of your life, such as family and work while trying to be at the top of your game.
Nadine recently pursued her Master’s in Human Movement Sciences (MHSc) NWU, focusing on performance improvement and fatigue management of cyclists. This has afforded her the opportunity of working with some of the most exceptional cyclists in South Africa. She aims to further her knowledge and experience in this field by pursuing a PhD next. She has also been certified with various sport-specific qualifications, including a UCI level 1 cycling coach accreditation and PMBIA level 1 cycling skills coach accreditation. Nadine is driven to help athletes of all ages to reach their goals, whether it is to reach the podium or improve their cycling enjoyment.
